Today I'm going to talk to you about general communication skills. Accuracy is an important communication skill, if what you say isn't 100% accuracte then people could take it seriously and find out that its not entirely correct. you alsoways want it to be be as acurate as possible becasue you want to make sure the audience understands you and everything you are showing them. People depend on the information you tell them, if they tell other people what you have told them or rely on it, they could get it wrong if your information isn't correct and accurate and it could make them look stupid also. If your work is always accurate people will like to give you to give you work because they know it is going to be really good and to the best of your ability.
Engaging Your Audience
Engaging your audience is a very important skill, this is important as you need to keep your audience interested. For example if you are giving a presentation and you just tell them what you have to say and leave it at that, the audience could get bored. The idea is to keep them entertained and interested. Technology, this is another important thing to consider when engaging the audience, use technology because Technology can help you in many ways, it can make things alot easier when giving a presentation, you could use programs such as powerpoint to help aid you with the presenation and add lots of pictures, video and sound if you can to help you explain and engage with your audience. you can improve relations between staff if you can enagae an audience because other staff will try and improve there skills with the ones you have. if you dont engage an audience no one will know what your talking about.
Interpersonal Skills
Everyone needs good interpersonal communication skills because thats how people exchange information.
Why is it necessary?
How could it be used in the rain bow organization.
Interpersonal skills is very useful in the rainbow organization because it could be be used to help people with hearing difficutes because they could learn how to lip read to commuicate with people face to face.

The word ‘Yes’ is a positive response to a question. Your facial expressions – such as a smile can also be a positive reaction also nodding your head, or leaning towards the speaker, shows your agreement to listen to what is being said and you are interested.

Negative language
Negative phrasing and language has the following characteristics:
· tells the listener what cannot be done
· has a subtle tone of blame
· includes words like can't, won't, unable to (which informs the listener what your organisation cannot do)
· does not stress positive actions that would be appropriate, or positive consequences.
Positive Language
Talking positively is very important while conversing because this here shows that you are actually all into the conversation and that you want to talk to the other person. Using positive language is also very important to use positive body language and to use eye contact. Use positive language like "well done" or "good job" use all language like that there. Using positive language within the organisation is important not only using it toward clients but to staff too.
Using it toward clients
Its very important to use it toward clients so that you are being polite. You dont to be coming off as rude and blunt to the clients because if so this could have a bad affect on your job and also the organisation.
Using it towards staff
Not only is it important to use it towards clients but its vital to use towards other working staff too. The reason for this is because if you talk positively towards staff that means that the whole staff gets along with each other and that’s best for the organisation rather than the staff not getting along and then the organisation falls apart.
Communication Skills
Introduction
Good written communication skills are very important to have because that’s how people and organizations communicate with each other. For example here is a few points on how written communication is used

· Writing memos.
Why is it necessary?
It is necessary because all organization need to commutate with each people for example there customers, products suppliers and the banks so on. People need to have good written communication because it will be need in life.
How could written communication could be used in the Rainbow Organization
Written communication is very important because it will be used a lot in the rainbow organization because they would need it to write reports, write emails, memos to other member of staff and they might have to fax documents to another organization.
Proofreading
Proofreading is a process of checking, looking for errors within a written piece of text. Before you send a written document you should always read it for example something like report, text message, email or letter, it is essential to review and check your work for accuracy. The more you read over things the better because it will improve your reading skills and you will get better at spotting the mistakes which is good over all. It is necessary in the in the rainbow organization because the staff will have to read over there emails and other documents because if they don’t they don’t know for sure if there work was accurate and it could not make sense.
Spelling and Grammar
Having good spelling and grammar is needed a lot in life now. if you were sending a document to someone and they couldn’t even read it what would be the point in sending it. The more you read over things the better because it will improve your reading skills and you will get better at spotting the mistakes which is good over all. Spelling and Grammar is a very important thing because is shows straight away because if a person cant spell or write properly that you wont to employee them for a job for example.
