Good technical knowledge
They need to have good technical knowledge for working in the rainbow organization because they would need to be able to log on the computer and burn CDs get on to the databases because they would be needed to do at some point.
Did the person every do anything with IT before and does he have any qualifications. They need to know it well because it makes a job be done a lot quicker and done better. A person working within the ICT would need to ensure that they have a good understanding of different aspects of their job. For example, an ICT Technician working in a school would need to understand how to fix a computer if there was a problem and have it back in the room as quick as they can.
General Attribute
Team working
Team working is a very important attribute because you can lead others towards the correct path and tell employees what to do and when. When your good at working in a group you have good communication skills and the boss of the company would like to see that and would like to hand your team more work.
Every employee is dependent on his fellow employees to work together and contribute efficiently to the organization. No employee can work alone; he has to take the help of his colleagues to accomplish the tasks efficiently. It has been observed that the outcome comes out to be far better when employees work in a team rather than individually as every individual can contribute in his best possible way.
Employees in rainbow need to be a good team worker because for a business to be successful everyone has to work together if not the organization will not last long and fail because when you don’t have good team working skills you are not communicating with others for example in rainbow one person should be burning the CDs and the other will be make the labels and someone else could possibly be ordering other products.
Independent
Independent is an extremely important attribute because you can lead others towards the correct path and tell employees what to do and when. If you are independent you will be trusted in the big tasks and the boss would prefer to give you the work because you always have your work in on time and never below standard.
Independent is very important in the rainbow organization because there has to be someone research for new technology and new IT software to help the people with visual problems. People in the rainbow organization need to be undependable because there would be no point of you being there because you are not reliable and you will not be trusted to do any work because you might not have it in on time or not up to standard.
Leadership Skills
This skill revolves around the individual’s ability to be able to manage co-workers to work effectively towards meeting the group’s goal. This skill will require the individual’s initiative to take charge and be responsible for any of the group’s mistakes. It is a very good personal attribute because when you do this job correct you are look at like a boss and you could take this skill to a higher level in life. Every employer will look for that when in an interview.
Leadership skills are needed in the rainbow organization because there needs to be someone telling the tasks for the employees.
Types of tasks which will require ICT skills
In the organization you need to use your ICT skills to use the software on the computer to create CDsand make labels for them. people in the rainbow organization have o use the software with the computer for example use work to write reports and excel to show a spreadsheet of all the sales and products and what they need to order.
Nowadays people in organizations use emails to communicate other employees and the manger for example to transfer work and records. they would show clients how to use the and load their CDs and use the software for example someone buys a pair of earphones to listen to their computer the employee has to show them how it works.
